Under what conditions can I apply for social assistance in my federal state?

Advice

Under the Schulstartklar (BMASGPK) program, families receiving social assistance (minimum income support) will receive a 150 Euro school supplies voucher for each school-aged child from August, in preparation for the start of the 2026/2027 school year. Vouchers can be activated via the Schulstart app until 31 October 2026 and redeemed at all Libro and Pagro stores.
