Change place of residence
With digital registration/deregistration and change of status you can complete all registration processes online:
- Registering and deregistering your main residence or secondary residence
- Main residence becomes the secondary residence or vice versa (change of status)
You can also complete this registration for your own underage children at the same place of residence.
Requirements for use:
- ID Austria or EU Login
- age of majority
Caution
- To use this service you must have already been registered in Austria.
- Misuse of this service may result in an administrative penalty.
- A residence registration has legal consequences, including with regard to vehicle registration, the civil status register, ORF-contribution, etc.
