Apply for a voting card

You can view the electoral register online (self-check). To do this, you need the ID Austria or EU Login. This way you can check whether you are in the electoral register yourself or which municipality you need to contact.

This service is still available within the application deadlines.

Requirements for applying for a voting card:

Austrian citizenship
16 years of age or older at the time of the election
ID Austria or EU Login (information on conversion from mobile phone signature and citizen card to ID Austria^{German text})

Current information on the topics of voting card, postal voting, visits by the "flying electoral commission" (mobile electoral board).
